My first pair of these green paddles were purchased back in 2000, they were a lighter color green back then. They were still in good condition but they were stolen so I had to purchase another pair. These are a darker green color than my original pair but they fit just the same.The only place I put the rubber is on the top part of the paddle where he middle fingers go; I don't use the lower rubber for the wrist. This makes sure that you are stroking properly. If the paddle comes off, something's wrong with your stroke.
