My hands had become so cracked and dried out in these later years, mostly due to washing dishes by hand for over 40 years. My naturopath recommended this hand cream. It is very pricey for the 1.7 ounce tube but (and I can't believe I am saying this because I am a real penny-pincher) it is worth the price! You don't need but a small pearl-size on each hand. A tube lasts me about 6 weeks, using it at bedtime only. My hands are now silky and soft (and much younger-looking), even after washing them. And, yes, I still wash dishes by hand! The scent is very pleasant and not overwhelmingly strong. I highly recommend it!!My hands are very soft since I have been using this cream, I didn’t give five stars because it’s a little greasy, so I use it only at night. Taking off 1 star only because it is very greasy and takes forever to absorb. I use it only at night before I go to bed as a result (or have to wipe my hands to get the grease off) but I have the softest hands afterward!I've bought this hand cream a few times now. It's light and absorbs well, has a nice scent and is one of the more affordable products from Waleda. I love Waleda and would buy the face cream more often but it's pricey! This cream isn't cheap, but it lasts a long time and nourishes my hands well.I was looking for an intense hand cream for my very dry hands. I've used L'Occitane for years, and I do love it still, but I still don't love the cost. I was finding with all the hand washing and hand sanitizer use with the pandemic, I needed more. I saw Weleda recommended in an article, so thought I'd try it.I purchased the Sea Buckthorn and the Primrose hand cream. I also purchased Weleda Skin Food. The hand creams are really good, just a smidge less moisturizing than L'Occitane. That makes them grwat for maintenance but not for an intense treatment. I recommend the Skin Food for that. I *love* the smell of the Sea Buckthorn. I'm not a fan of the Primrose. I'll keep using it, but it's not a relaxing smell I'd hope to use at night. I would definitely recommend buy the hand cream again to keep at my desk, and other places in the house for when my hands need something.Works great on hands. Heals cuts and dry skinIt's very moisturizing & really soaks into your skin. It would be fantastic except the scent is horrible! Ugh! There's nothing pleasant about the scent. It's also strong so the scent stays on your hands.Expensive, nothing special.This is a fine hand-cream. Prepare to be complimented by strangers on the smell because the scent is really rather lovely (thank them and tell them to stay 2m away though) and suits both men and women. It's not too sticky or gunky and rubs in well and keeps your hands well mosturised. I've only used it on my hands, but feel free to try other body parts to keep them soft.The cream gives a nice feeling to the hands straight after application. The skin becomes immediately nourished and for long. I'm not a big fun of the scent though - it's something between citrusy and sweet with some delicate scent of something that I'm not able to identify but I don't like it much. However, the quality of this cream is so good that I would not mind buying it again.The sea buckthorn cream itself is nice, the smell is pleasant and the texture is lovely, however I’m not happy how my hands feel afterwards. I had more hopes after reading the reviews. It absorbs fast indeed, but because it’s not very greasy it goes way too fast. Faster than your normal hand cream.
