Works well when kept in my sweatshirt pocket. The minute you take it out it's like it's not really on. Does get hot when on the high temp, and other 2 lecels seem to low, but I don't mind switching between if it means being warm. Wish you got 2, but I just use my sweatshirt pocket where both hands can hold it.Battery lasted 1 hour on the warmer setting. Very disappointedI've had the previous medium sized heater from Zippo and I love that one as well. This is one probably the biggest I would get and hold it comfortably over time. I like the smaller ones as well, but this one works great all the same and has 3 versus 2 temps, just a tick more versatile.I have gifted these to thankful friends. I wish the battery would last an hour more. This is my only suggestion for improvement.It also can be used to recharge USB devises. The time for full charge is in hours. Never try to empty the charge below 20%More Money for Namebrand =/= Better QualityBought this thinking by buying "Zippo" would be better than one of the Chinese branded hand warmers. The biggest thing was how poor the battery life was on the Zippo battery. The off-brand ones are much cheaper last much longer, get hotter, and are less unwieldy.This was probably my 5th heater I've bought now as I've used the electric hand warmers for 5+ years now and they inevitably die after months of use.This was a Christmas gift for a chilly guy and he LOVES IT.
