In my area of the country when it's hot...it's really hot. As a result, I sweat...I really sweat. When I sweat it trickles down my throwing arm getting my hand wet. This is not a great thing as the disc usually comes out prematurely due to wetness. A friend suggested a tennis player's wristband to absorb the sweat from reaching my hand and I'll give him credit it does a fair job. However, it doesn't stop it all. I've noticed baseball pitchers using rosin bags on the mound to get a better grip on the ball and decided it was the best way to combat that little remaining sweat on my hand and it worked...too well. Now I had the opposite problem as the disc would not come out of my hand until it was too late. (I learned this while playing a tournament no less.) Fortunately, another player gave me something that would not make the rosin so sticky in my hand...it was a chalk bag and much more powdery. This did the job of DRYING my hand. So, if you sweat like I do don't let this happen to you or your game. Try a dry powder instead of a sticky rosin. Does anyone want to buy a second-hand rosin bag?
