Folkmanis Goat Hand Puppet - Realistic Animal Puppet for Storytelling, Education & Play - Perfect for Kids, Teachers & Puppet Shows

This adorable goat seems very much like a Pygmy Alpine goat in coloring. He has a really nice expression. Only the head and lower jaw are moveable. His body is stuffed, like a plush toy. There's plastic beans in the tips of his ears which gives them some weight and they flop about adorably as you move his head. The mouth is moveable, although it's a little fiddly to get the mouth to open and close easily. An adult can fit one finger in the lower jaw to mobilize the mouth. He's very cuddly and soft. As with many Folkmains (pron. "Folk-Man-Iss") items, it's obvious from holding it that it's a high quality item that's been well designed and fabricated. There's exquisite use of fabric, where the dark grey has white highlights, and the white areas have silver/grey low-lights, giving a very realistic look. His hooves and nose are a shiny faux 'leatherette' type material and he's got a little billy-goat beard and soft velour horns. When you put him down he sits like a flopsie toy, with legs forward. Our item is very much like the pictures. Although, in one of the pictures he's clearly posed - the head actually flops down, unless you stuff him, with socks or something, to keep his head up. I'd say he's great for storytelling, teaching, day-care, pre-school, games and even professional stage use. The opening for one's hand is a good size for both adults and children. Kids from 5 to 50 love him! Highly recommended if you're after a quality goat puppet.
